Stephanie Marie Norero, 41, of Las Cruces, NM passed away Friday, February 14, 2025 in Las Cruces surrounded by her loving family and cousins.

Stephanie was born November 17, 1983 in Huntington Park, California to Rose Saborio and Robert Norero Sr. She was raised in Hurley, NM and, later on, moved to Las Cruces. She was a mother to the light of her eyes, Xavier Sarabia (Chloe), Joseph Chavarria, Kalani Norero and Tristan Villado who survive her. She is also survived by her mother, Rose Norero (Jorge Arivizo); father, Robert Norero Sr; brother, Robert Norero Jr (Eva); sister, Pamela Castillo; brother-in-law, Rudy Castillo Sr; aunts, Natalia Saborio, Paula Holguin (Leroy), Melinda Gonzalez (Alfonso), her many nieces and nephews; and her Saborio and Norero cousins who all loved her very much.

Stephanie's children were her world and priority. She loved and adored them. She was a wonderful mom. Her favorite pastimes were listening to music, being with her children and family gatherings, cruising in the mountains and camping.

She is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Samuel and Paula Norero; maternal grandparents, Pedro and Socorro Saborio; uncle and aunt, Manuel Sr. and Beda Saborio; aunt, Patty Saborio; uncle, Ross Lucero Sr.; cousins, Stephen Norero, Marsha Norero and her Saborio cousins.

Visitation will take place at one o'clock in the afternoon on Friday, February 21, 2025 at Baca's Funeral Chapel in Silver City. A Celebration of Stephanie's Life will begin at one-thirty. Pastor Clyde Woods will officiate. In accordance with her wishes, cremation will follow. A memorial service in Las Cruces will be announced in the coming days. Concluding services and inurnment will take place at a later date in the family plot at Hurley Cemetery.

Honorary Pallbearers are Stephanie's Saborio and Norero cousins.
