Susana Martinez was born on August 11, 1955, in Chihuahua, Mexico, to her parents, Maria Luisa Martinez and Conrado Martinez. She passed away January 13, 2026, at Memorial Medical Center in Las Cruces, New Mexico.
Susana was strong, independent, and full of love. She adored her daughter and grandchildren and always put them first. She had a big heart, always helping others, and her family and friends could count on her for anything. She loved her sisters and brothers deeply and held them close throughout her life.
She is survived by her daughter, Bryanda Martinez; her grandchildren, Kaissa and Eduardo Hernandez, Victor and Breeanay Duran; her great-granddaughter, Yaneliss Gonzalez; her sisters, Leticia Martinez and her husband Randy Venegas of Hurley, New Mexico, Elisa Martinez and her husband Eduardo Martinez of Hurley, New Mexico; her brother, Daniel Martinez of Chihuahua, Mexico and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Maria Luisa Martinez and Conrado Martinez; her sister, Maria Elva Martinez; and her brothers, Esteban Martinez, Leonardo Martinez, Guadalupe Martinez, Eberardo Martinez, and Luis Mario Martinez.
Susana will be remembered and greatly missed for her strength, kindness, generosity, and the unconditional love she gave to her family and all who knew her.
