PTF Calls on Congress to Investigate Biden’s Lame Duck Loans
Washington, D.C. - Down to nearly the last month of their term, the Biden Administration is handing out a record $15 billion loan to a California utility. The low-interest loan will reportedly go to fund more green energy projects in the state. However, California’s current years-long push toward renewables has already given the state the dubious distinction of the highest power bills in the nation.
Albuquerque – Fueled by the state’s oil and natural gas industry, the latest revenue numbers show an additional $892 million for New Mexico’s annual budget this year. The new revenue forecast predicts about $13.6 billion budget for the state, representing a nearly 75 percent increase since 2019.
“Christmas arrives early again thanks to New Mexico’s oil and gas workers, but let’s hope leaders in Santa Fe don’t keep all the presents to themselves again this year,” said Larry Behrens, Communications Leader for Power The Future. “Over the last five years of this boom, Santa Fe politicians have ballooned their own budgets, taken expensive foreign junkets, and partied on the back of the state’s oil and gas producers - all while supporting policies intended to decimate the industry. This year, New Mexico’s families deserve to directly share in this wealth and our energy workers deserve a long-overdue THANK YOU from Santa Fe.”
Washington, D.C. - While millions of American prepare to celebrate Thanksgiving, the Biden-Harris Administration is shoveling billions into electric vehicle loans hoping no one will notice. The new $6.6 billion deal will be added to LameDuckWatch.Com a new initiative from Power The Future shedding light on the waning days of the Biden-Harris administration and expose any attempted malfeasance. With less than two months remaining in office, the Biden-Harris administration has shown no signs of slowing their efforts to shove more taxpayer dollars out the door and “Trump-Proof” their questionable policies.
Washington, D.C. - Today, Power The Future is launching a new initiative called LameDuckWatch.Com to shed light on the waning days of the Biden-Harris administration and expose any attempted malfeasance. With nearly two months remaining in office, the Biden-Harris administration has shown no signs of slowing their efforts to shove more taxpayer dollars out the door and “Trump-Proof” their questionable policies.
Specifically, LameDuckWatch will focus on shedding light on three potential areas of corruption:
Washington, D.C. - After President-elect Donald Trump announced his nomination of Chris Wright for Secretary of Energy, Daniel Turner, Founder and Executive Director of Power The Future, issued the following statement:
“Alongside Doug Burgum and Lee Zeldin, Chris Wright completes a powerful trifecta of accomplished and experienced individuals poised to deliver American energy dominance. Having spent more than three decades as a leading innovator in the oil and gas industry, Mr. Wright understands that American resources can and should be developed responsibly and affordably here at home. Fulfilling the campaign promises to lower costs, ease inflation and make our country more secure starts by reversing the failed Biden-Harris energy policy, and with his early Cabinet choices, President-elect Trump is off to a strong start.”
Washington, D.C. - Today, Daniel Turner, Executive Director and Founder of Power The Future, praised the nomination of former U.S. Representative Lee Zeldin to serve as administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA):
“As a conservative fighter from deep blue New York, Lee Zeldin knows how to win in the toughest political terrain. There is no greater priority for the incoming administration than rolling back the maze of regulations and red tape imposed by the Biden Administration on America’s energy producers.
Washington, D.C. - After Americans resoundingly voted for a new direction on energy policy, Power The Future today released a strategic five-point plan to reverse the failures of the Biden-Harris administration that fueled record gasoline prices and the highest inflation in decades.
These five actions include:
Rescinding every Biden anti-energy executive order - The Biden-Harris administration ruled through executive orders. Specifically, executive orders cancelling the Keystone XL pipeline and re-joining the failed Paris Climate accords. These, and many others, should be rescinded on the first day.
