The Silver City Museum Ice Cream Social opened after the end of the parade, and the courtyard's shade drew in parade-goers. Music filled the air, and ice cream filled the stomachs. The museum parking lot had a number of vendors, who had chosen this venue rather than Gough Park to sell their wares and hand out information.
