Armando "Mundy" Young Amador, 72, an Army Veteran and resident of Bayard, NM, entered into the arms of our Lord on Sunday, June 9, 2024 at Gila Regional Medical Center. He was born on October 22, 1951 to his parents, Guillermo Rel and Emilia (Young) Amador in Hurley, New Mexico.
Armando, also known as "Mundy" truly led an amazing life, filled with challenges, adventure, testimonies and memories. A man with many odds stacked against him, backed by faith and family, he prevailed through it all, until our Savior called him Home.
Angelica (Angie) Milo Garcia, 93, formerly of Deming, New Mexico entered eternal rest peacefully on Friday, January 26, 2024 at her residence in Temple, Texas surrounded by her family.
Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be recited on Monday, July 1, 2024 at 10 o'clock in the morning at St. Ann's Catholic Church by her niece, Teresa Sanchez. A Parable Reading is to be read by her great-grandson, Isaiah Flores and a song of worship sang by her granddaughter, Amanda Garcia, immediately after the Holy Rosary has been recited. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated thereafter at 11 o'clock with the rite of committal and inurnment to follow at Mountain View Cemetery.
Angelica was born July 1, 1930, to Gonzalo and Maria Falcon Milo in Needles, California. At an early age the Milo family moved to Deming, New Mexico which was her home until she married and moved to Virginia for a short while and lastly Texas which was her home for over 65 years.

Dora Dean Childress Leithead born March 10, 1932 passed away at her home in Mule Creek NM at the age of 93. Her Parents were Arthur and Averil Taylor.
Her Family homesteaded in Separ before relocating to Mule Creek when she was three. When she was sixteen, she met her future husband of forty-seven years Charles Richard Childress when he drilled a water well for the family. They had two daughter Carol Shadron of Los Luna's NM. and Sherlene Williams of Mule Creek, NM. In 2013 Dean re-married to her second husband James Leithead of Wilcox AZ. They enjoyed traveling and attending gospel meetings for a few years before Mr. Leithead passed. Shortly after she moved back to the Taylor Ranch in Mule Creek NM. to be closer to family. Dean had six grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren, and four great-great grandchildren. All of whom she truly adored.
There will be a graveside memorial June 15, 2024 at 5pm at the Gila Mesa Cemetery in Gila NM. After we have said our goodbye and dried our eyes, we will meet at the Gila Baptist Church for a potluck for family and friends.

The visitation will be held on Monday, June 17, 2024 at 5:00pm-6:00pm at Terrazas Funeral Chapels with the Holy Rosary commencing at 6:00pm, recited by Deacon Art Gutierrez. The Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, June 18, 2024 at 9:30am at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, officiated by Father Martin Okonkwo. Following the mass, Mundy will be laid to rest with his fellow Military Hero-Brothers at Fort Bayard National Cemetery at 11:00am where he will receive Military Honors. Pallbearers are Armando Amador, Jr., Adam Amador, Aaron Amador, Alan Amador, Andrew Amador and Ruslan Amador.

Richard Wayne Duggins of Silver City passed peacefully in June, 2024, beloved dog Beast by his side.
Rick was born April 23, 1951 to Richard Chapman Duggins and Willa (Withers) Duggins and is survived by siblings in four states.
He was loved.

On May 14, 2024, Bernabel (Bernie Sr.) J. Salaiz. loving father, grandfather and brother went to be with our Lord peacefully in his home of Las Vegas, Nevada. He was born in Santa Rita, New Mexico on January 21, 1939, to Jose Salaiz and Anastasia Jimenez Salaiz. Bernie Sr. also known as "El Borrego" or "El Woollie" by his friends and family, as a young man he worked throughout the Mimbres Valley on the farms, met his wife, Lucy Ortiz Salaiz of 58 years they raised five children. He worked as a miner in the local mines in Grant County until he moved his family in 1983 to Nevada where he found a better opportunity to provide for his family. He was a member of Liuna Local 872 Laborers, worked with REECo at Nevada test site till he retired in 1999.
Bernabel is survived by his sister Alicia Gonzales of Alburquerque, New Mexico and his children Velia Madrid, Bernie Jr., Susanna and Rosanna Salaiz of Las Vegas, Nevada. Also surviving him are his 13 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
